OK, I’m not going to update every day now as I don’t think it’s necessary, so every time I add in a new traffic stream I’ll let you guys know what I have done and how it’s performing.

The You Tube video is doing OK, not massive traffic but a good steady flow of new visitors so it was worthwhile doing, and thanks for Lori who got in touch to tell me that you can put a link in the description area of YouTube which will obviously promote your site directly but also give you a valuable niche related back link too, so thanks Lori a good tip there!

If any other readers have any useful tips to share do get in touch, it’s always nice to hear your thoughts too.

Yesterday was a day of rest from Clickbank Pirate as I had some personal tasks to get done so no  additional promoting to report on from yesterday.

What did you think of the video? OK, I’m not Tarantino but I think I got the message across? It’s already got some views and my awstats are showing some click through so it’s doing the trick. I think it’s important to remember that traffic generation is a gradual process that is about putting in place lots of tactics that will add up to a nice amount once they mature, so my gold is to keep adding new traffic streams little and often. If I can do something most days then I feel I’m making progress, and don’t forget that this work will mean the traffic numbers will continue to grow even after I stop promoting a particular product.

I have been listening to some of the training audio files that came with the Clickbank Pirate membership and there are a few new ideas in there that I will definitely be trying in the near future.

Hello again me hearties!  I’m really getting into the whole pirate theme, I’ve even developed a limp!

As I mentioned yesterday I have been working on a video to upload to YouTube to generate more traffic, I have decided to promote the ClickBank Pirate product rather than any of the others for now as there is still a huge buzz around the product and I’m hoping to make the most of it now while it lasts. Today I have been thinking of other ways to drive traffic and I’ve decided to create a video to upload onto YouTube, as you will probably know YouTube has loads and loads of potential new customers looking through the videos every day, and I have uploaded videos in the past that not only have generated a nice amount of traffic has sustained this level over a long period of time. One of my videos on Wholesale sources is still generating allot of visitors today and I created it over a year ago. So that’s what I will try to get done today, when it’s finished I’ll put up a link so you can take a look for yourself. I just logged in to the Clickbank Pirate members area and I have made my first conversion! It just means that someone has signed-up to receive the free report for that particular product, so still no sales yet but it’s the first sign of success and I’m chuffed right now. It means that I have one person on my list and they will be processed through a very well put together sales funnel and my chances of making a sale will be as good as they can be. Who knows, that one opt in could go through and buy straight away! I’ll have to check my clickbank account later just in case.

So I watched the first CBP webinar today and as I expected it was just a run through of the members area and going over the basics making sure everyone knows what they should be doing, which didn’t take long because you can sum it up by saying: “drive traffic to your affiliate links” there.. basic overview done! Seriously it was an interesting 45 mins and I did have one small question that Soren managed to answer during his talk so that was useful. I have been thinking about some slightly different ways to get my affiliate links some exposure, I have some ideas and once I work out all the angles I’ll post them on this blog.
